While analogue stick controls arguably aren't as straightforward as touch screen ones for a game like this, there are a variety of optional alternative control methods available depending on your platform of choice, from Kinect on the Xbox 360 and Xbox One, to the Touch Pad on the PS4 controller, or Move on the PS3.

In terms of things younger children may struggle with, there's really very little here. Effectively using the birds as demolition balls, the idea is to knock the fort down until the pigs are defeated, in an idea that's so simple, yet oh so enjoyable, you'll wonder why no-one else has thought of it.

To do this, all you have to do is pull back on the stick to set and angle and power for your bird, then press a button to send them flying across into the piggies' well constructed fort. While the birds and pigs have both been given a Star Wars makeover, the concept is still the same - it's up to you to fire your birds out of a giant catapult, with the intention of knocking down the pigs' buildings on the other side of the level and defeating them. If you've ever played an Angry Birds game before, you'll soon be at home here.

In return, you get two multiplayer modes, that let you play either in co-op (taking it in turns to fire your birds off), or competitively in a high-score duel. Although it comes with 20 exclusive levels, it's sadly missing the Endor and Death Star II levels of the mobile game.
